Mini First Aid – Lancashire Parents

Parents and carers across Lancashire will be given the chance to learn potentially life-saving first aid skills when Mini First Aid Lancashire launches on 6th January 2017. Mumpreneurs Paula Kopydlowski & Andrea Kyriakou are running the classes and cannot wait to get started.

“We are so excited about the prospect of working with local families to share our first aid knowledge. It’s a real privilege to be able to teach others and help ultimately to save lives.”

Mini First Aid offer a range of first aid courses to parents, grandparents, carers and children. Babies are welcome too! The courses are delivered in a relaxed and comfortable style and cover the basics of life saving first aid, giving you confidence to know what actions to take if faced with a medical emergency.

Andrea and Paula are fully qualified Paediatric First Aid instructors. During the award winning 2-hour baby & toddler first aid classes, they cover CPR, choking, burns, bumps, bleeds, shock, breaks, febrile seizures and Meningitis awareness

Costing just £20 per person, you can learn and practice CPR skills and how to deal with choking on baby and child mannequins.

Mini First Aid began in Leeds in 2014 and has been incredibly successful, with classes established across the UK. The 2 hour parent classes take place in a variety of venues or you can have a private class in your home or venue of your choice. The price remains the same.

Mini First Aid also run 1 hour classes for children (Mini First Aid Kids), designed to encourage them to think about the actions they would take in an emergency situation if no adults were present. In small groups, children learn lifesaving techniques and the basics of emergency first aid through interactive and fun sessions.
