The old dilapidated Farmers Arms has undergone its very own ‘Grand Designs’ with a complete rebuild and redesign. From first purchasing the property nearly 6 years go – it’s been a long journey for Romel & Rez, the new owners of Mehfil, to create this new elegant Indian restaurant – Preston’s first non-alcoholic lounge & bar.

Mehfil is a place where you can relax with the family, catch up with friends or simply hideout in a space to indulge in an excellent selection of food & drinks from classic traditional favourites to dishes that leave your taste buds tingling for more. With non-alcoholic drinks that  you never thought could look & taste so good.

This superb new restaurant offers excellent food in a large but intimate environment, with a menu very different from the usual choice of dishes on offer elsewhere.  Plenty of tables arranged over two floors, with booths, provides ample chance of getting a table even at short notice until word spreads of the best upcoming Indian restaurant  in the Preston area.’
